Dear Hedenkamp Families and Community,
Welcome to Hedenkamp Elementary! ¡Bienvenidos a Escuela Primaria Hedenkamp! Whether you are returning to our school community or joining us for the first time, we are delighted to welcome you to another exciting year of learning, growth, and new possibilities together as a Husky community.
At Hedenkamp, our vision is to inspire learners to excel, own their thinking, and be positive forces in our global community. Every day, we aspire to create engaging learning experiences where students are active participants in their learning by asking questions, thinking critically, collaborating with others, and reflecting on their growth. Whether students are exploring creativity and innovation in our STEAM Studio, developing bilingualism and biliteracy through our Dual Language Immersion program, or engaging in rich classroom experiences, we are committed to providing opportunities that inspire curiosity, nurture student agency, and empower every learner to reach their fullest potential.
This school year brings many exciting additions to our campus. We are thrilled to welcome several new staff members who bring diverse backgrounds, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to helping every Husky succeed. We are also honored to welcome our Extended Student Needs (ESN) transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten classrooms as the newest members of our Husky Pack. Their addition reflects Hedenkamp's commitment to ensuring every learner belongs and every member of our Husk Pack is valued. We look forward to learning, growing, and celebrating together as Many Huskies, One Pack.
